Private Services

At Addictions North East, all of our services are available privately as well as through funded routes. No matter how someone comes to us, the programme is the same, the team is the same, and the quality of care is exactly the same. Choosing private access simply means a faster start, more flexibility, and no waiting for external approvals – it’s just another way to access the expertise, structure and support we already provide every day. There’s no “premium tier”, no upselling – just a quicker path into the help someone needs.

Why Choose Private Access?

Choosing a private placement with ANE gives you faster access, no waiting list, and complete flexibility around when you begin – while still receiving the same programme and team as everyone else. Many people prefer this route simply because it allows them to start immediately, at a time that feels right for them. It’s a straightforward, stress-free way to access structured support without delays or external processes.

Private Residential (Supported Housing) – £700/week

Our private residential service offers a safe, structured living environment with fully furnished accommodation, cooked meals, and full access to our recovery programme. This includes daily routine, keyworker sessions, therapeutic groups, support with life skills, and staff available across the day. A typical private stay is a minimum of 4 weeks, giving people enough time to settle, stabilise, and build a foundation for progress.

Private admission is ideal for anyone who wants immediate access with no waiting list – the service itself does not change. You receive the exact same support, the same staff team, and the same programme delivered to our funded residents. Private access simply enables you to begin quickly, without needing to wait for benefits approvals or local authority processes.

If someone is unsure how long they need, we can tailor the duration around their goals and progress.

Private Therapy – £40 per hour / £25 per half-hour

Private therapy gives you access to a qualified counsellor in a calm, confidential space where you can explore whatever you’re struggling with – addiction, anxiety, stress, low mood, trauma, or day-to-day pressures. Sessions include personalised therapeutic support, recovery-focused guidance, and a clear plan to help you move forward.

  • 1-hour session: £40
  • 30-minute session: £25
  • Evening, weekend or online appointments may be available depending on the counsellor’s schedule

All private therapy appointments can be booked directly through our website below or contact the team by phone, email or through our online enquiry form for availability – simple, quick, and no referral needed.

DayHab Programme – £15 per day

Our Daycare Programme offers a full day of structured support from 9am to 3pm, including group sessions, recovery-focused activities, a cooked breakfast, and lunch. It provides routine, connection, and therapeutic input – ideal for anyone needing daytime structure without entering residential housing.

The programme is open to both residents and non-residents, making it a flexible option for individuals living in the community who still want support throughout the day.

Signing up is easy – individuals can book directly through our website below or contact the team by phone, email or through our online enquiry form for availability.

Alcohol Home Detox Through Addictions UK

For those needing to safely withdraw from alcohol, we work closely with Addictions UK to provide a medically supervised home detox service. Their clinical team manages the full process – from assessment and medication to daily monitoring and aftercare – ensuring you’re supported every step of the way. Prices begin at £995.00, offering a safe and accessible option for people who prefer detoxing at home rather than in a residential setting.

Please contact AddictionsUK for more info on their home detox programme.
